Goodbye Andrew Bynum!!!

BynumThe Dwight Howard drama in Orlando last season, otherwise known as “The Dwight-mare”, officially ended when Orlando finally traded him to the LA Lakers after the 2011-2012 season. A deal that landed the Philadelphia 76ers a potential franchise centerpiece in Andrew Bynum.

Since Bynum arrived in Philly, his playing status has gone from bad to worse, to laughable, to unreal due to knee and various other injury problems.

I wanted to take a moment to recognize everything Andrew Bynum has managed to accomplish during his stay in Philly, since word come down yesterday that Bynum will officially miss the rest of the season due to surgery on BOTH of this knees. A season in which Bynum participated in ZERO games for the Sixers.

Here are his moments of glory that captured headlines in Philly and exactly how he’ll be remembered as a Philadelphia 76er…

Yep… just a bunch of fashion faux pas and bad hair days. Luckily for the Sixers, with Bynum missing every game, they’re not responsible for his salary this season. Insurance will actually pick up that 16 million dollar tab… what a waste.
