Sam Mendes made his Bond franchise directorial debut with Skyfall. And it’s needless to say, but I’m gonna say it anyway, he stuck gold. Gert Forbe would be proud.

I know that I did not expect Sam Mendes to come back for another Bond adventure. So to see this news break today, it comes to me as a complete surprise. A very happy, joyous, exciting one at that…
As you’ve probably guessed by now, I’m officially pumped for any and all details regarding Bond 24. Yes, I’m a Bond fan, and would support the film by going to see it regardless of who was directing, but I absolutely loved the approach Mendes had and obviously final product that he/Skyfall delivered.
Kudos to Mendes for giving James Bond a classic feel reminiscent of the franchise’s glory days with Skyfall and being open to return for another film. I thank you.
